Educators are facing burnout and struggling to connect with students in meaningful ways.

School culture suffers when students and staff feel disconnected and unsupported.

Students facing personal challenges often fall through the cracks without proper guidance and belief in their abilities.

The emotional toll of feeling unheard or unrecognized leads to decreased morale and motivation in schools.

Lack of belief in oneself or others creates a gap between what’s possible and what’s achieved.

MEET EDWARD DESHAZER

Edward DeShazer believes in the transformative power of belief. He’s lived it, seen it, and made it his mission to share this message with educators, leaders, and individuals across the world.

Growing up, Edward faced challenges that could have easily defined his life’s trajectory. Labeled as “at-risk” and placed in special education, his path wasn’t lined with expectations of success. By high school, he had been suspended over 30 times, expelled three times, and the odds were stacked against him. But something incredible happened:

People chose to believe in him.

Coaches, teachers, and mentors saw his potential when others couldn’t, and that belief changed everything. It gave him the confidence to push forward, dream bigger, and ultimately become an award-winning school leader, speaker, and author. Edward is the product of a group of educators who never gave up on him.

Now, Edward is dedicated to helping others unlock that same potential by addressing what he calls the “Believe’ment Gap.” This gap represents the difference between what people are capable of and what others believe they can achieve. It’s a hidden barrier, often found in schools, workplaces, and even within individuals, that holds people back from reaching their full potential—but it doesn’t have to stay that way.
